With teachers and chefs from all over the world, the Gastronomy (Chef) degree from the Instituto Culinario de México will give you a current and global perspective in terms of flavours, culture, innovation, logistics and service that make up the culinary arts.
In both the Puebla and Monterrey campuses, ICUM offers equal partes practical and theoretical classes as part of the student experience while studying your nine semesters to attain your gastronomy degree.
In addition, ICUM maintains partnerships the world over in order to provide you with the opportunity of international and national professional internships.
The Gastronomy Degree is designed for students who wish to work as:

Design professional kitchen installations and the efficient management and structuring of work groups.

Creates new concepts related to the restaurant industry based on the fundamentals of professional cooking and commercialization. |

Develops the criteria to adapt a recepie while considering the variables and context such as: the cpacity of the installation and personelle as well as new preperation methods. |
